Morning and afternoon care

We help the school’s families balance work and family life. Our care service is a safe, warm space for any child who needs to stay at school outside lesson hours.

During the care session children can play, read or study with the support of our monitors. The service offers peace of mind for parents, care for children and flexible hours, both mornings and afternoons.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

What are the hours of the morning and afternoon care service? What are the drop-off and pick-up times?

The morning care service usually starts between 7:30 and 8:45, and the afternoon service runs from the end of lessons until 17:00 or 18:00, depending on the school. We adapt to each school’s needs to offer broad, flexible hours that help families balance work and family life. Morning drop-off is staggered within the set hours, and in the afternoon children can be collected within the agreed window (for example, from 16:30 to 17:00, or until 18:00). A responsible monitor is always on duty.

How do I request or sign up for the service?

Each school has its own registration system. In general we provide an online or paper registration form that can be handed in at the school. Depending on the case, registrations are handled by the AFA or by the school management. For more information, ask the school or write to us directly.

Can the service be used occasionally, or is a monthly commitment required?

Yes, the care service can be used occasionally or as a one-off. We offer flexible rates for families who only need the service at particular times, as well as multi-day passes and monthly options for those who use it regularly.

Where should the child be dropped off, and who collects them at the end?

In the morning, children should be brought to the care area designated by the school. In the afternoon, family members or authorised adults collect them from that same area. Parents or authorised adults must show the collection card we give each family, for added security.

What happens if I am late collecting my child?

If you are delayed, the monitor stays with the child until an authorised adult arrives. Late collection may incur a charge.

What kind of activities take place during the service? Can children bring breakfast or a snack?

During the care session we run calm activities suited to the time of day: games, reading, drawing or small workshops. In the morning children can bring their breakfast if they wish, and in the afternoon their snack. The monitors supervise mealtimes and keep the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming.
